In April 2018, the domestic mobile phone market shipped 34.251 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 16.7%, and the decline rate was narrowed by 11.2% from March. From January to April 2018, domestic mobile phone market shipments were 122 million, down 23.7% year-on-year.
 
Different from the decline in shipments, 4G Netcom mobile phone shipments continued to grow. In April 2018, shipments of 2G handsets were 1.575 million, a year-on-year decrease of 28.7%; shipments of 4G handsets were 32.676 million, a year-on-year decrease of 15.8%, of which Netcom mobile phones accounted for 95.6%. From January to April 2018, shipments of 2G handsets totaled 6.961 million, a year-on-year decrease of 11.1%; shipments of 3G handsets were 28,000, a decrease of 93.2% year-on-year; shipments of 4G handsets were 115 million, a year-on-year decrease of 24.2%. %, of which Netcom mobile phone accounted for 93.4%.
 
The number of new models listed on the domestic market has been significantly reduced. In April 2018, 55 new models were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 53.8%. The new models listed included 12 models of 2G mobile phones and 43 models of 4G mobile phones; from January to April 2018, 261 models of new models were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 24.1. % The new models listed include 60 models of 2G mobile phones, 2 models of 3G mobile phones and 199 models of 4G mobile phones.
 
It is worth mentioning that domestic mobile phone shipments accounted for 90%. In April 2018, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 31,641,000, a year-on-year decrease of 17.7%, accounting for 92.4% of domestic mobile phone shipments during the same period. From January to April 2018, domestic shipments of branded mobile phones were 108 million units, down 25.1% year-on-year, accounting for 88.4% of domestic mobile phone shipments during the same period.
